Celtic Welcome

In an effort to try and keep to our March 1st finish deadline I have been concentrating this week on Celtic Welcome.  The white dragon (Gwyn) is now completely finished apart from the backstitching and the red dragon (Sheila’s is called Cedric, mine is as yet unnamed) is coming along quite quickly.

There is a LOT of backstitching on this design, and I think the backstitching is probably going to take just as long as all the stitching, but having seen the stitched model at Polstitches last year I know that all the effort will be well worth it.

For those of you who are owned by cats, pop over to my sister Sheila’s blog to see what her cat Alfie has been up to.  Hilarious!!

  1. It looks great. I know what you mean about backstitching. One of my pet peeves when it comes to stitching. I even hate it more than Queen stitches and that says it all, lol.
